Reporting CSAM and NCII
In immediate danger?

1. Zero Tolerance
Cr8tivehub has zero tolerancefor child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”) and non-consensual intimate imagery (“NCII”, commonly called “revenge porn”). The presence of such content on our platform is a violation of South African criminal law, of the Cr8tivehub Terms of Service, and of our values.
The penalties for the creation, distribution, or possession of CSAM under the Films and Publications Act are severe and include imprisonment. Cr8tivehub is required by law to report suspected CSAM to the South African Police Service.
2. Definitions (for clarity, not legal advice)
- CSAM — any visual depiction of a person under 18 engaged in sexually explicit conduct, or any image that has the effect of advocating, advertising, encouraging, or promoting the sexual exploitation of a child. The age of the depicted person is determined by appearance where actual age is unknown.
- NCII— sexually explicit images or video of an identifiable adult, shared or stored on the platform without the depicted person's prior, specific, freely given consent. This includes images that were initially shared consensually but are subsequently shared beyond the scope of that consent.
3. Reporting Channels
3.1 In the Cr8tivehub mobile app
Use the red “Report CSAM/NCII” button on any profile, portfolio item, live stream, or message. This is separate from the ordinary report flow and is escalated immediately.
3.2 On the web
Submit a report at cr8tivehub.com/report-csam (this submission endpoint is being built; in the interim, use email below). No login is required.
3.3 By email
Email csam@cr8tivehub.com at any time. This mailbox is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For NCII reports, ncii@cr8tivehub.com is also monitored.
3.4 Anonymous reports
You may report anonymously. We will still act on the report, but we may not be able to provide you with updates if you do not give us contact details.
4. What Happens After You Report

We will never ask a reporter to send us a copy of suspected CSAM. Do not attach, forward, or otherwise transmit such material. A description and the URL or username are sufficient.
5. What We Do Not Do
- We do notnotify the uploader of the reporter's identity.
- We do not restore content that has been confirmed CSAM or NCII under any circumstances.
- We do not require the victim of NCII to involve law enforcement before we will act, although we will assist them in doing so if they choose to.
6. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
Cr8tivehub cooperates with the South African Police Service Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS), the Film and Publication Board hotline, and other lawful investigating authorities. Where law-enforcement requests data preservation or a takedown, we will comply within the timelines specified by law.
If you have already reported the matter to SAPS, please tell us the case number — this helps us coordinate evidence preservation.
7. Support for Victims
We understand that reporting is difficult. If you are the subject of NCII or you are a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, the following organisations can provide free, confidential support:
